The rotor starts the baling process.

Perfect bale start, every time.

Only from CLAAS: the belts and the cutting rotor turn in opposite directions, allowing the immediate start of the baling process necessary to produce a compact core. The high-speed rotor reaches directly into the bale, forcing the process to start – for each and every bale, and in all conditions.

 

 

Durable and robust.

Comfortable baling.

The automatic permanent chain lubrication ensures trouble-free use and a long service life. The oil quantity can be adjusted individually for each chain, depending on operating conditions. The 7.3-l tank with fill indicator is sufficient for long working days.

 

Draw on full power.

PRO – the intelligent cutting frame.

A VARIANT equipped with the hydropneumatic PRO cutting frame not only removes blockages, it can also help avoid them in the first place. Capacity utilisation is displayed to the driver, depending on loads, so that they can select the optimum speed to prevent blockages occurring.

 

 

Intelligent balers.

Smart compaction: SMART DENSITY.

The new SMART DENSITY management system controls the two tensioning arms independently of each other. This means that the VARIANT 500 always maintains the desired belt tension. The result: bales compacted the way you want, with a soft core and hard outer layer with hay or with maximum bale density with straw.
