The oriental fruit moth – Grapholita Pro Caps
A monitoring solution based on a pheromone attractant is used to capture male adults of the oriental fruit moth.
Host plants: Mainly peach trees, but also apples, apricots, plums, pears, etc.
Pest stage: Caterpillar
Targeted stage: Adult (male)
Number of generations: Up to 6 generations/year. 1 adult female can lay around 50 eggs
Diffusion Period: 3 months
How to use:
Set up the Delta trap. Remove the protective film from the sticky sheet. Stick the green cup in the middle of the sheet. Empty the syringe's contents simply by pressing the plunger (no need to cut the tip) into the cup. Place the sticky sheet in the trap. The moths are attracted by the sexual pheromone, enter the trap, and are caught.
Recommended density: 1-2 traps/ha
A unique formulation process
The technology of microencapsulation patented by M2i is based on the dispersion of an organic mixture (natural wax, natural oil and active substance) in an aqueous phase (water and polymer). At the end of this process, the organic phase containing the active substance (here a pheromone) is trapped in polymer microcapsules.
