Action / advantages

Due to its content of mineral acids WEICOSIL-SP possesses an excellent scale removing effect with simultaneous prevention of the developing of nitrous gases.
Before cleaning the system must be back-flushed in order to remove loose filter residues and not to pollute the cleaning solution too much.

Concentration determiniation

Titration	To 100 ml. application solution 3-5 drops phenolphthalein is added and titrated with 1N NaOH until it becomes red.
Calcultion	needed ml. 1N NaOH x 0.108 = % WEICOSIL®- SP

Material compatability	In the prescribed application concentration, stainless steel, iron etc. are not attacked. Not suitable for aluminium. Due to differences of membrane specifications on the market a general statement regarding compatibility can not be given. The information regarding material compatibility and approval of membrane manufacturer must be considered.
